When Triumph announced the Rocket 3 TFC in 2019, all 750 build slots sold in days at $29,000. It is the factory's own custom: the world's largest production motorcycle engine, dressed in carbon fiber and numbered on a billet plaque above the dash.

This is No. 587 — one of roughly 225 that came to North America. It rolled out of its full 20,000-mile service this month with new tires on both ends, and it comes with every factory extra the dealer handed over on day one.

The TFC got its own hardware: carbon fiber fenders, fly screen, heat shields and driveshaft cover; a full Arrow exhaust with carbon end caps; Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers; fully adjustable Showa suspension; titanium intake valves and a 15 hp bump over the Rocket 3 R it's based on. Even the paint — Carnival Black over Sapphire Black with hand-applied brushed-gold detailing — was exclusive to these 750 machines.

It pulls like nothing else on the road, shifts clutchless up and down through the quick shifter, and still turns heads at every gas stop six years on.
